As an artist exhibiting in North Carolina and Virginia, I naturally want to promote my work.  In addition, I would like to provide a vehicle of support for my collogues in the region in a way that might serve the greater creative community.  That is the primary purpose of this page.  To promote the work of the artist and to encourage and support the entire creative community of which I am proud to be a part.

On this page you will find an ever growing list of dedicated artisans and serious crafts people producing exceptional work in their chosen fields.  It serves Central, Southside, and Southwest Virginia and Central and Western North Carolina.  Included are visual artists from the Greensboro, Charlotte, and Asheville areas as well as those from Lynchburg, Roanoke, Danville and Southwest Virginia.

I hope that you will take the time to visit these artist's sites and that you will enjoy these listings and support the visual arts in our region.  Please bookmark this page as new artists are being added on a weekly bases.

Note:
While the internet is far from an ideal vehicle to appreciate fine art; it is nevertheless a very valuable introductory tool.  You may become acquainted with artists and their work on the web, but the finely crafted work of serious artists must be experienced firsthand.  I encourage you to visit the respective galleries of these North Carolina and Virginia artists while their work is on exhibit.  Fine art is a sensual, enriching experience and any significant appraisal must be made firsthand.

Thank you for visiting and supporting the visual arts in North Carolina and Virginia.

J. W. Gardner
